Episode 11

Welcome to Wednesday of the fifth week of Lent! Today’s episode is hoof praying. Or actually hoof worshiping on my commute to work. Singing the Doxology is a spiritual practice that helps centre myself and set the tone for the day. It is a gratitude practice too! The Doxology is praising God from whom all blessings flow. As we recite or sing the Doxology we are sending up gratitude and praising the Lord. The Doxology is know to soften even the hardest of hearts. If you are one that your whole heart isn’t open to the Lord, or if you have holes in your heart from past trauma, or unforgiveness, perhaps reciting the Doxology will open up that heart space and allow the healing to begin! Allowing that connection with the vertical to happen and/or strengthen.

The Doxology is: Praise God from whom all blessings flow, praise him all creatures here below, praise him above the Heavenly Host, praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen. Amen. Amen. (recited three times)

As I hoof pray, worship or sing on my commute to work, it is all about bringing the Lord into every corner of our lives to maintain spiritual momentum and balance on the narrow path.
