For the December Yoga Schedule, I have added a new class! Yoga Nidra Doxology. It brings together successful aspects of my personal spiritual and wellness disciplines. My disciplines have developed and grown over my entire lifetime but more so over the last 14 years. And for those of you who have read my book or know me personally, I call the past 14 years ‘this side of healthy’.
Being healthy is a choice. Wanting a healthy lifestyle comes with hard work and discipline. And I assert that those disciplines require three components: Meditation/Mindfulness, Breath Work and Movement. Those three components allow us to heal things in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual body. As we heal our bodies we create space to allow a healthy lifestyle to emerge.
Through my own journey I have found that the turning point was leaning into my spirituality, staying in the present moment, having a growth mindset and finding the movement that was right for me at the time and space I was in. My own journey is the inspiration behind offering this new class. That is why I am excited to launch this new Yoga Nidra Doxology class because it brings together many aspects of what I have tried and have found lasting positive results. Not only have I found success, these same practices/disciplines have worked for my clients as well.
Let’s take a closer look at the benefits of this class: Yoga in itself is life-giving. Yoga nidra is life-giving. Saying, singing or meditating on the doxology is truly life-giving water that replenishes even the hardest of hearts. This course will offer a musical love frequency sound bath, a gentle flow yoga that will reset the energy system and then we will finish with the calming yoga nidra practice – which is a yogic sleep that instills calmness, inner peace and tranquility which provides vibrant healing to the body, mind and soul. During the yoga nidra we will meditate on the doxology. The doxology in itself is a ritual that has a Godly shaping on us. It effects our desires and habits as we move along the narrow path. Creating a reflective healing space. Repeated liturgy makes you love it and wanna live it! A practice like this retrains the brain and it sets the stage for better life choices. It allows for a healthy relationship with all aspects of our lives. It also has the three valuable healing components: Meditation/mindfulness, breath work and movement.

This class is currently available Monday’s at 5:15pm in studio or online. Sign up is required 24 hours in advance of class. This class is also available for small groups or thru an online booking.
